“Food Tip” del giorno – Coriander!
Coriander seeds can be distilled to create coriander oil, one of the oldest and most essential oils in cooking. Coriander oil is often used in baked goods or meat dishes—you’ll sometimes see it in liqueurs as well!
Check out this recipe from Persephone’s Kitchen for Carrot and Coriander Risotto. The original recipe doesn’t call for this, but if you have coriander oil on hand, you may want to try adding a few drops to your risotto to deepen the coriander flavor!
